eDeck Now Available for Portable Blackjack

I know that Christmas is over, but I read an article that said that the week after Christmas is actually the best shopping time of the year. Okay, I actually only read the headline. I’m busy; give me a break. Regardless, there’s a cool new toy that I want to tell you about. It’s a new toy for adults – no, not that kind! It’s for gambling.

I’m talking about the eDeck, which, if you haven’t seen it, is a new handheld electronic device similar to an iPhone or Blackberry. It has a large display screen where you can play digital versions of poker, blackjack and other games. What makes it unique, though, is that you are actually playing at the biggest Las Vegas casinos, including the Venetian, the Palazzo and M Resort.

The eDeck uses Wi-Fi technology to connect you directly to the casino. That way, you can take on the dealer in a competitive game of blackjack while waiting for a taxi, sitting at your booth while waiting for the server to bring your check, watching your children at the playground, screening airline passengers, or directing traffic at a crosswalk.

Actually, come to think of it, those last 3 examples are terrible things to do while playing blackjack. You really need to pay attention for those things. The other 2 examples work, though. You get the idea. If you’re waiting around somewhere and have time to kill, you can take out the eDeck and play blackjack for real money. It’s portable, so you can take it with you anywhere and a great game of blackjack is only a click away.

Sounds good to me. Hey, if I create an Amazon wish list, will any of my readers buy it for me?.. I didn’t think so.
